A thorough and efficient service for people interested in the investment process in Dabrowa Górnicza is managed by the Interdepartmental Investor Service Team.
The Team’s services include assistance in the selection of an investment site, and in the choice of regional partner and contractors of services related to the venture, as well as consultancy at the completion of specific investment projects.

Organizational investor-support during the phases of the preparation and completion of investments, and an after-investment completion service are also provided.

The City Mayor’s First Deputy, Henryk Zaguła, is in charge of the team.

The team is responsible for:

- preparation of investment offers
- preparation of data concerning the regional economy,
- support and promotion of investor contacts,
- co-operation with the County Employment Office and business-related institutions, including PAIiZ, RCOI, the Speaker’s Office, diplomatic offices, etc.,
- providing information about public aid granted by the city,
- servicing of foreign and Polish entrepreneurs interested in making investments, including thorough organization of the investors’ visits within the city,
- presentation of investment offers during industrial fairs,
- keeping databases of all business contacts interested in making investments in the city,
- building up and maintenance of relations with entrepreneurs and investors and public institutions which support entrepreneurs and investors.

All information concerning investors’ visits and inquiries (database), information on companies, and on people who have purchased properties from the city and started the investment process, is gathered together at the Department of Strategy, Promotion and Public Transport.

When a potential investor is interested in a specific area, a prospectus is prepared for them. The prospectus contains general information about the city and region, as well as demographic data and information on the current situation of the employment market, and any other data at the request of the interested party. In the prospectus, suggested locations for a given venture are presented.

Investor service means that an appointed person from takes the investor through the whole investment process, facilitating contacts with strategic departments as part of the process.

If an investor expresses interest in purchasing or leasing land, the  team organizes a meeting, during which the final offer is presented.
